James C. Stevens, Jr.
Jim Stevens concentrates his practice in Administrative Law, specializing in matters involving the Department of Children and Family Services, Family Law, including juvenile court matters, child support and divorce, complex civil litigation, probate, traffic court cases, including DUIs, and criminal representation.
Jim earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1985 and his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1981.
Jim recently left the Illinois Attorney General’s office, after a distinguished 33 year career, where he was a Deputy Bureau Chief. Jim is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Bar, the Federal Trial Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
